Our Pastor
Barry
Philbeck has ten years of pastoral experience and has been pastor
at Love Valley during this time. He has a Bachelors degree in
Biblical Studies.
He serves
on the Board of Directors for Crossroads Rescue Missions, an
organization that ministers to troubled men on drugs and alcohol.
Under
Pastor Philbeck's leadership, God grew Love Valley Baptist Church. The
Church has experienced growth each year in all phases of church
life. The Sunday School attendance averaged thirty-five when he
first came to Love Valley Baptist Church and in just three months the
attendance grew to over one hundred. The church presently
averages over four hundred in Sunday School. The church has averaged
fifty plus baptisms per year. This would not have been possible had it
not been for God's grace.
During
these ten years the church has experienced a warm and caring fellowship
among the congregation due to Pastor Philbeck's love of God and
the church family as well as his compassionate leadership.
Pastor Philbeck and his wife Mrs. Jenny have two children, Bj and
Chelsey. Each member of the Pastor's family is faithfully involved in
all aspects of the church.
